Area Sales Manager, Milling – Europe

Are you a commercially driven sales professional with experience in the feed production or feed milling industry?

SKIOLD is looking for an Area Sales Manager, Milling with a strong focus on Europe to grow our milling business, develop selected European markets and strengthen our network of customers and partners.

You will represent our full range of feed milling and cleaning solutions — covering commercial mills and on-farm feed milling — across the pig, poultry and dairy/cattle segments.

The role

As our Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and implementing SKIOLD’s sales strategy across selected European markets.

You will work closely with direct customers, partners and colleagues across SKIOLD to identify opportunities, develop project sales and strengthen SKIOLD’s commercial position in the feed industry.

A key part of your role will be to understand the individual markets, build strong local relationships and turn opportunities into successful projects.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute sales and market activity plans for selected markets
  • Manage and continuously develop the project sales pipeline
  • Achieve agreed sales targets across your assigned markets
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the European feed industry
  • Build and strengthen long-term relationships with direct customers and partners
  • Expand SKIOLD’s customer base and market presence in Europe
  • Ensure SKIOLD is positioned as a preferred supplier of milling solutions
  • Negotiate and finalize sales with direct customers
  • Support and develop SKIOLD partners to ensure strong commercial performance
  • Train partners in relevant sales tools, solutions and new equipment
  • Prepare high-quality project and customer information for efficient handover to the wider organization
  • Participate in relevant exhibitions, industry events and customer activities
  • Monitor European market trends, developments and opportunities and share insights across the organization
  • Maintain an accurate and reliable sales pipeline through regular follow-up and reporting

Developing our European partner network

Our partners are an important part of SKIOLD’s presence in Europe. You will help ensure that we have the right partners in the right markets and work closely with them to develop opportunities and grow our business.

This includes providing commercial and technical support, assisting with larger project proposals and ensuring that partners are trained and equipped to successfully represent SKIOLD and our solutions.

Growing direct customer sales

You will actively develop SKIOLD’s direct customer business across your markets by identifying new opportunities, following up on leads and building relationships with feed producers and other relevant customers.

You will manage the commercial process from the initial opportunity and customer dialogue through project development, negotiation and final sale.

About you

We are looking for someone with a strong commercial mindset and preferably experience from the feed production, feed milling, agricultural equipment or related industries.

You understand how to develop business across different European markets and cultures and are comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with customers, partners and internal specialists.

You are structured, proactive and take ownership of your sales pipeline. Most importantly, you enjoy being in the market, meeting customers and partners and developing long-term business relationships.
